Mixer Truck A conventional concrete truck, otherwise known as an in-transit mixer, can be loaded with dry materials and water, by in-transit mixing or mixed concrete. Can be loaded into mixing drum. While the truck is moving, the drum rotates to keep the concrete agitated and thus in a paste state until it is ready to be delivered to the appropriate location.

Concrete mixer trucks are mainly composed of chassis and top loading. This machine can be easily divided into the following 10 parts:
⚫️Chassis system: The whole car's transportation function is realized by the chassis.
⚫️Hydraulic transmission system: the engine power is converted by the engine into hydraulic energy (displacement and pressure) and then the output is converted into mechanical energy (speed and torque) which provides the rotation power of the truck mixer.
⚫️ Concrete mixing tank (drum): Drum mixer is the key component of the truck mixer and a tank for storing concrete. The drum plays a decisive role in preventing concrete from freezing and separating. The inner part of the tank has blades that mainly play the role of stirring and directing materials.
⚫️ Drainage system: This system is mainly composed of main drain hole, auxiliary drain hole, lock rod and others. The auxiliary discharge cavity can extend the length of the main discharge cavity.
⚫️ Braking system: The braking system mainly consists of pressurized water tank, water gun, water pipe, valve and others. The main function of air pressure water supply is to wash the hopper after loading and unloading, wash the mixer drum and the discharge cavity after unloading, and prevent concrete sticking.
⚫️ Auxiliary frame: The sub frame of the mixer is the main bearing part. The load during operation is almost borne by it and then transferred to the chassis. The subframe also reduces impact and impact load. The entire subframe is composed of the main beam, the front support frame, and the back frame.
⚫️Manipulation system: The manipulation system includes the controller, connecting axis, flexible shaft and connecting rod mechanism, which mainly controls the speed and direction of the mixer drum.
⚫️Bracket system: The rear part of the mixing tank is connected with the sub-frame, which mainly supports the drum body.
⚫️Feeding system: It mainly consists of feeding funnel and bracket. Due to the impact wear of the feeding hopper, the material must have good wear resistance. The bracket mainly reduces the impact force.
⚫️Electrical system: This system refers to the entire electrical system of the mixer, including the rear light, side marker light, gallery lamp, cooling fan and motor.
☑️ How to Working Mixer Track
A truck mixer transports concrete from the plant, where aggregate, cement and water are mixed, to the project site. Concrete mixer trucks are often mistakenly called cement mixers or cement trucks, but the final product is concrete. The concrete can be ready-mixed at the plant, or the mixer truck can be loaded and the concrete mixed as it moves to the job site.
Concrete is mixed in a rotating drum mounted on a truck chassis. The drum keeps the concrete after it is loaded on site, in the form of a paste and ready for concreting. Inside the barrel, there are blades that mix the ingredients together, which is called charging. On site, concrete is poured from a truck with reversing blades to help push or discharge the concrete from the barrel through pipes into the mold.
Concrete truck mixers are offered in rear and front discharge configurations. Rear discharge mixers require a worker in the back of the truck to manage the pipe and pump the concrete properly. A front dump truck allows the driver to view the job site and pour concrete on site by controlling the chute from inside the cab.
In cases where a concrete truck mixer cannot access the job site, the concrete may be placed in a concrete pump that pumps it to the project. The truck chassis has multiple axles to distribute the weight of the loaded concrete to meet various loading regulations. Trucks move on-road as well as off-road. Concrete must be delivered to the project before it hardens inside the drum so that concreting can be done on time.
